Braised Chicken with Glass Noodles (Jjimdak)
Ingredients
- O'food Organic Glass Noodle / 1 pack
- Chicken thighs / 1kg
- Potatoes / 250g
- Carrots / 150g
- Onions / 200g
- Green Onion / 70g
- Chili peppers / 20g
- Garlic / 20g
- Minced Ginger / 5g
- Cooking oil / 10g
Direction
- Briefly parboil the chicken in boiling water for about two minutes to remove any strong smell. Drain the water and set aside.
- In a large bowl combine - Soy sauce 120 milliliters Water 200 milliliters Sugar 30 grams Oligosaccharide 40 grams Cooking wine 40 milliliters Minced garlic 20 grams Minced ginger 5 grams Black pepper 2 grams
- Heat 10 grams of oil in a pot. Stir fry the chicken for about three minutes until the surface is lightly cooked.
- Pour the sauce into the pot and bring it to a boil.
- Add potatoes 250 grams and carrots 150 grams and simmer for about twelve minutes.
- Add onion 200 grams green onion 70 grams and chili peppers 20 grams.
- Add the soaked glass noodles 180 grams and simmer for about three minutes.
- Add 10 grams of sesame oil. Top with a little sesame seed if you like.
