Sunchang

O’Food’s gochujang originates from Sunchang, a city in South Korea widely renowned for its quality peppers, ideal climate, and traditional fermentation practices. As the first brand to ever produce brown rice-based gochujang, we made it possible to achieve both premium taste and health through clean, quality ingredients.

Modern Tradition

Our R&D Department scientifically analyzed the traditional clay pot fermentation process and extrapolated the method to a factory environment, allowing us to maintain the integrity and consistency of the chili paste.

Meticulous Production

Fermented once using the traditional method, which allows for perpetual airflow during fermentation. Fermented twice with added ingredients such as red chili pepper powder for the appetizing color and taste. Finally, the paste is safely sterilized through sunlight and stored for your convenience.
